About the BCA 

The Brightwood Community Association, Inc. (BCA), represents one of the most stable and vibrant communities in Washington, D.C. Anchored by Walter Reed Army Hospital, the upper Georgia Avenue commercial corridor, and Rock Creek Park, Brightwood is a community rich with history, diversity, commerce, and vitality.

Membership is open to anyone 18 and older who owns or rents property within the BCA's boundaries. Membership dues are $20 a year per household for non-seniors (up to 2 people, $5 per additional adult members); $5 per person for seniors; and $25 for businesses.  

The BCA meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from September through June.  Meetings are held at St. John United Baptist Church at 13th and Tuckerman Streets, NW, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, unless announced otherwise
