The BCA has been active in local District and Ward 4 affairs since 1958. It is an association of homeowners and apartment dwellers, businesses and families, drawn from the area spanning north to south from Aspen to Kennedy Streets and east to west from Georgia Avenue to Rock Creek Park (Map).  Its voter precincts consistently post some of the highest turnouts in city elections.
